I’m coming to a place where I accept the notion that God of my understanding doesn’t make junk. All of it is necessary. It’s all good. From the day my sponsor told me to bite my tongue and sit on my hands at the police station, I was learning to participate with my mouth closed. I was learning not to pick up someone else’s business. I was also beginning the journey to becoming ready and I didn’t even know it. Yeah, gentle loving care. Step 6 is a journey of trust too. A time for everything.

It’s amazing how gentle my Higher Power has been in helping me remove my defects of character.I was not relieved of them all at once.Through the years in working the program, my defects have been revealed to me. As I have become willing, my higher power has replaced them with a more mature character.
